Kft formation
and HomeBase.

Four tiers for single-member Kft formation — and the same price whatever the number of founders. The International tier is built for non-resident founders: process agent, apostille and translation, and a fully English onboarding flow. Prices include Hungarian VAT (27%); on the English checkout your card is charged the EUR amount shown.

HomeBase — registered address by the month

HomeBase is Zenty’s registered-office service in Budapest — a real address, mail receipt, digital scanning, and forwarding, at 9,990 HUF + VAT per month (≈ €25). You can subscribe independently of company formation, or use it as the registered address for a Kft formed elsewhere. The Standard tier includes 1 month bundled; Pro and International include 12 months bundled. After the bundled period the subscription continues at the monthly rate, cancellable with one month’s notice.

What you do not pay Zenty

Court filing fee — 0 HUF. The Duty Act (Itv.) sets the court filing fee at 0 HUF for Kft formations in the simplified electronic procedure. It is not part of the Zenty fee and is not billed separately.

Publication fee — 5,000 HUF. The publication fee in the official commercial gazette (Cégközlöny) is included in the Zenty package price. You do not pay it separately.

Share capital — minimum 3,000,000 HUF (≈ €7,900). This is not a cost; it is the company’s own working capital, transferred to the company’s bank account after registration and available for any operating purpose.

Payment and billing

  • Payment methods: card (via Stripe) or SEPA bank transfer.
  • When you pay: at the start of the formation, after you select a tier. The fee pays for legal services and is non-refundable once paid; if the court rejects the filing on formal grounds, the process restarts at no additional charge.
  • Invoicing: an electronic invoice is issued the business day after payment; for formation purchases it can later be reissued to the newly registered company.
  • VAT:prices include Hungarian VAT at 27%. B2B founders reclaim the VAT on the new company’s first VAT return.
  • Currency: checkout on the English surface charges the EUR amount shown (the HUF price is the canonical gross price behind it). Statutory items quoted in HUF — share capital, the publication fee — remain HUF-denominated.

Frequently asked questions

Still have a question?
Write to us and we'll answer — like a human, no legal boilerplate.
hello@zenty.hu
Is the formation fee refundable?
No — the fee pays for legal services, and by starting the formation you expressly request immediate performance, so it is non-refundable once paid. If the commercial court rejects the filing on formal grounds, the partner firm restarts the process at no additional charge.
Are there instalment plans?
Formation fees are paid in full at the start of the process — the attorney work and the court filing cannot proceed on instalments. The HomeBase subscription is monthly or annual; annual prepay includes a 10% discount.
What does "bank introduction and accounting referral, at no cost to you" mean?
Zenty's partner banks and accountants pay a referral commission to Zenty when a successful introduction is made. Your banking and accounting fees are set directly by the bank or accountant; Zenty does not mark them up or take a margin from your relationship. The referral revenue flows from the partner to Zenty — not from you.
How does the price compare to engaging a Hungarian attorney directly?
Hungarian attorneys typically charge 50,000–150,000 HUF for Kft formation, with additional charges for bank-account coordination, accounting referral, and NAV registration. The Zenty Start tier bundles all of those. The price difference is modest; the meaningful difference is the workflow — 2–8 working days end-to-end versus 2–4 weeks, and a structured handoff to the post-formation steps.
How is the fee shared between Zenty and the partner firm?
By contract. The cooperation agreement specifies the fee allocation. Zenty's share covers platform development, automation, customer success, and the NAV/bank/accounting handoff; the partner firm's share covers the attorney work — countersignature, court representation, substantive document review. The arrangement is the basis on which a fixed-price formation product is viable.

A clearer way to form your company, from the first step.

I finally did not have to keep running to a lawyer's office — I handled the whole thing online and always knew where the formation stood.
